BORDERIE

Born in 1952, Jean-Pierre Borderie was formely a photographer
and, with Laszlo RUSKA, animated the section of "imaginary
photographers" at the Société Française de Photographie.
From age 18 to 35, Jean-Pierre Borderie devoted himself to
photography while developing a strong interest in painting and creation.
He now works in painting and sculpture.
His painting and sculptures show a world of exploration in which
the viewer takes on the role of a sort of demigod through his
meeting with the elements he discovers or the emotions that
overcome him. The canvas is constructed by the way in which the
viewer takes it in. However, certain landmarks help to bring the viewer
back to the theme.
